  1. Sinusitis and Chest Conditions Such as COPD; Bronchitis; Pneumonia; Asthma  and much more.

    Evaluation includes: Auscultation, Percussion Notes, Thoracic Expansion, Peak flow-, Cough ability/Airway clearance (PECF) as well as Spirometer testing.

    Treatment includes:  Nebulization, Percussion, Postural Drainage, Incentive Spirometry, IMT resistance training, PEEP exercises, Cough Augmentation

  2. Cardiac Assessment & Rehabilitation

    We can screen individuals and identify if an individual has a increase risk for Cardio-Vascular disease. We treat any patients that had any Cardiac Thoracic- or Open heart surgery.

    Evaluation includes: 
    Vital Signs; Muscle strength; Physical Activity Level; Balance; BMI classification; Abdominal Obesity; Age-predicted Maximum Heart Rate; Heart Rate Reserve; Perceived Exertion scales; Thoracic Expansion and
    Exercise Tolerance.

    Treatment includes: Cardiac Rehabilitation Phase 1-Phase 3 Mobility and pain management; Home Exercise Program; Respiratory Training.

  4. TMJ dysfunction

    The focus of physical therapy for temporomandibular disorders (TMDs) is relaxation, stretching, and releasing tight muscles and scar tissue. Physical therapy is an especially important part of recovery from TM joint Surgery, Degeneration or decrease Range of Physical therapy techniques may include:

    • Jaw exercises to strengthen muscles and improve flexibility and range of motion.
    • Heat therapy to improve blood circulation in the jaw.
    • Ice therapy to reduce swelling and relieve pain.
    • Massage to relieve overall muscle tension.
    • Training to improve posture and correct jaw alignment.
    • Movement of the temporomandibular (TM) joint to release scar tissue that restricts muscle movement and to improve range of motion.
    • Ultrasound therapy, which uses high-frequency sound waves directed to the TM joint, to reduce pain and swelling and improve circulation.
